About Alessia Morelli

Alessia Morelli — Trainer in digital education, coding and Artificial Intelligence

Professional development for teachers and learning programmes for pupils, focused on the thoughtful and critical use of emerging technologies through a hands-on, workshop-based approach.

Alessia Morelli

I'm Alessia Morelli, with a degree in Educational Sciences (equivalent to a Bachelor's) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I believe that technology and education are fundamental to the future of today's children.

Based in northern Italy, I work with schools and educational organisations across the region and online, and I am available for international school workshops, Europe Code Week events and Erasmus+ / eTwinning / EU-funded projects.

Technology is increasingly present in children's daily lives from the earliest months, through videos, images and interactive apps.

Technology can streamline activities and enrich learning, but its value depends on mindful use: it can offer tremendous opportunities when handled well, or create problems when used inappropriately.

I am committed to helping children develop a critical, creative and sustainable approach to the digital world, so that from an early age they learn to recognise both the opportunities and the risks.

What I do

I design and deliver bespoke coding programmes that integrate:

Creative reuse and sustainability

Art and personal expression

Digital and STEM workshops

My goal is to create inclusive learning environments where children feel welcomed, valued and motivated.

Artificial Intelligence in schools

Artificial Intelligence is now part of everyday life, including for young children. I offer programmes that introduce pupils and teachers to the core concepts of AI through simple, accessible and engaging activities.

I support teachers in the guided use of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot) in educational settings, with particular attention to ethics, critical thinking and prompt engineering applied to teaching.
